The Laboratory is equipped for anaerobic digestion studies: it has anaerobic reactors where perform basic BMP analysis and continuous long-term process development, the production of biogas is continuously monitored as it is possible to analyze the main process parameters.

The Laboratory is also equipped with updated instruments for spectrophotometry, automatic titration and gravimetric analysis where biotechnological techniques are regularly applied to substrates, wastewater, crops and digestates for fertilization.

The Laboratory is also equipped with equipment for microbiology: laminar flow hood for the safe and effective handling of bacterial and fungal strains, as well as other general equipment for the production of sterile media for microbiology.
